FAQs

Why should I go with USB C?

With USB C becoming more capable and ubiquitous, other cables and connectors will soon be a thing of the past. Having one universal cable for all your devices will make it easier and cheaper to replace your broken chargers as well as avoiding unreliable suppliers that are more likely to sell faulty products.

USB C will likely be the go to connector for the foreseeable future just like USB A has been used for decades. USB C can do everything USB A can do with the added bonus of a more compact port for phones, tablets etc. as well as the convenience of being reversible.

It's hard to imagine what could succeed USB C since it is a great option for all the most popular devices. That's why we recommend ditching other connectors and investing in USB C for the long term. The convenience is unmatched!

What adapters do I need?

We recommend to always have adapters for USB A and USB C in both directions since those are the most common. USB C to Lightning is great so you can use your versatile cables to charge your non-usb-c Apple Devices as well.

But generally we recommend you make sure the products you buy in the future use USB C (for power, audio and video) for the best experience. Adapters are just a convenient stepping stone for older products.

Which size cable should I get?

It depends on your use case and needs of course but here are some recommendations:

1m/3.3ft is the most common size that you may have seen come with your phone and is a nice size to have around your desk.

2m/6.6ft is the best seller and allows for more movement if you were trying to use and charge a device at the same time.

1.5m/4.9ft is a happy medium between allowing some movement but not being too long that it will end up on the floor.

3m/9.8ft is our longest cable and will give you plenty of room to move around while keeping your device plugged. Great for when you might be sitting far from your charging point or for controlling a phone or laptop plugged into a big screen tv.

0.5m/1.6ft is our shortest cable which is better for charging and leaving your device. You can leave your devices close to a power source and reduce wire clutter for a cleaner look and feel.
